Graphic designer & web developer, at your service.
The Process
There's more to design than sitting down in the latest software and throwing something together. Research, revision, and selection of every element will be planned together.
The Results
When the project's done, we'll put together a plan to get customers to see your project. After all, what good is spending all that time on something that sits on a shelf?
The Support
Helping every step of the way. Using a client login system, you can track the progress of your project right from this site. No more guess work on what's going on.
Hey there. Did you know I also do photography, branding, SEO, print & marketing design, and a whole lot more? I love helping clients get the attention they deserve by creating clean, elegant, and highly functional design.
"Design is simple. Making something that isn't complete crap is the challege."
The way to get it all put together. A path where at the end, everyone involved is really excited about the final presentation, is a journey we'll travel together.
The process it takes to get from conceptual design to actual presentation is usually a long road, but it ensures that things are done right. Here's how we do it.
The initial meeting outlines what you want to get done, your ambitions for your project, how I can help, and gathering information. We'll then chat, sign some paperwork and finish our coffee.
Research is vital to any project. I'll look at some projects you like and don't like, see what your competitors are up to, and do some digging on what areas are important to highlight and which are not.
Many sketches, thumbnails, and notes are created based on your feedback, aims for the project, and research. This is a quick way to get some initial ideas down before we move to a digital format.
Next, we move to a series of 2-4 digital comps in black and white. We discuss and choose a design that best represents your business or plan, discuss changes, and pick a solid foundation for the final piece.
Revisions and edits are discussed and changes made. Revisions usually consist of two to three rounds in which you, the client, can suggest changes in color, layout, and overall style before finalization.
The final design is meticulously put together and presented. You receive high resolution copies of all work in multiple formats either on disk or archived digitally, and we finalize the project paperwork.

"Build something beautiful."
From a very early age, I had a strong passion for art. It stemmed from a fascination with paint (oil, watercolor), pen, and pencil work during the comic book boom of the early 90's. It was in the early stages of the modern graphic-oriented web (late 90's) that I moved to graphic design and website development. These were the days of Geocities and Angelfire, folks. It was a very dark time.
I'm now back in college, seeking my degree in Applied Science for graphic design. I am excited to absorb all the knowledge it will — and already has — given me. I also hope to teach the fundamentals to other eager minds wanting to learn about the industry. I have a passion for intelligent design, ultra-usable development, and hand-crafted fully W3C compliant code.
Oh, and I absolutely love Oregon beer.

"Design is a passion. You either have it or not, there is no in between."
You have a great idea, I come up with solutions, you reap the benefits. How much easier could it be? Whatever your price range, project details, or schedule, we'll work together and see it through. I'm not just here to make a buck, I'm here to make some lasting relationships with my clients.
Things should be simple. That's the reason I don't require a lot of info to get a hold of me. Instead, let's meet up and see what we can create together, I'll even buy the drinks. If you're lucky, I may even have a geeky designer joke on hand. You'll love it.
